Hello,
I am probably going to be a range coach this weekend and I was wondering if anyone has a nice cheat sheet that covers the basics(which way and how much to adjust the rifle, common errors, etc). It would be greatly appreciated!

Well, look over your principles of marksmanship again. I find that most inexperienced soldiers achieve poor shot groupings because 1) breathing control [the lack there of] 2) inproper trigger manipulation [jerking the trigger] 3) inproper firing position 4) poor eye relief just to say a few. I'm sure others will add more as they come along.
Granted, it's been over twenty years since I competed for CFSAC, but am I the only thinking that something must have been missed in basic military training?
Let's not forget the amount of range time most have had for the last few years. Skill fade is very real, and not the soldier's fault. Unless you spend your own nickel and go to a private range with your own guns and ammo, you will have skill fade.
Unless of course, you had hundreds of hours practicing for CFSAC
They get a damn sight more than the average Regular combat arms type, never mind the regular Reservist. Everything aside, you really have to pay attention to the 'sarcasm' smiley at the end of the sentence.
