OK i was so relived when id passed my all my test and everything i thought id be getting a call soon ... what i got was a letter stating that I coundnt because i were orthodics ... if you dunno what they are they are just a padding that you slip in you shoe thats it. anyways i had been getting leg pains and this is what the doc had given me but ive stopped wearing them over 5 months ago and ive been reciving no pains.  so the thing is that i realy wanna be able to train this summer but right now im in france till June .. does anyone know anyway ANYWAY that id be able to work this out. When i was still in canda i got my doc to fill things saying that i didnt have any phyical limatations but that she wanted to see me every 2 years and that still didnt work. So if i get a french doc to say im good does that count ? anyways i no that every river got a bridge you just gotta find it or make one anything you guys send would help  :threat:

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you are out of luck. The CF will be very reluctant to accept you. You recieved a letter saying "thanks, but no thanks" and that will be the end of it. The reality is that you can develop health problems once youre in, but they (we) wont take a chance before. But I dont work in a recriuting cell. Call several different recruiting offices, explain your situation honestly, and see if they have anything to say.

OK.  I'll wade into this.  I am not a Doctor or Foot Specialist, so I really am not an expert on the subject.  I joined years ago, and have high arches, (which have still not fallen) and I know lots with flat feet.  There are many foot problems in the military, as are there many knee problems, etc.  After all these years, the Army gave me orthodics.  Nothing major.  I also got to get vibram soles on my Mk IIIs.  Now everyone gets them.

From your post, you no longer have orthodics.  I don't understand what the problem is.  Perhaps there is another problem holding you back.  Anyway, it may be wise to get another 'Second' opinion.  Unless you have a crippling problem with you feet I can not see any problems.  Investigate it further.
