In the "probably not going to get teacher of the year" department, Jennifer Elizabeth Green-Johnson admitted to a troubling history of inappropriate comments at a hearing before an Ontario College of Teachers disciplinary committee.

Apparently, slapping one student and telling another to “lick me where I fart” (on top of previous disciplinary action) is grounds for a two month license suspension.

Reminds me of,

"A Toronto principal convicted of assault for throwing feces at a young boy will not face disciplinary action from the Ontario College of Teachers."

Thanks a lot... now everyone is looking at me wondering why I just erupted in inappropriate laughter

How are these serious consequences? These people are supposed to help mentor and teach children, yet a small suspension and anger management should fix these problems...

Likely there is more to the story than reported. My sister was a labour judge, what she related to me about the cases in front of her, bore very little resemblance to the stories reported in the media.
