Greetings,
I just got my transfer out of the Infantry School and into the Artillery School. I was wondering if someone could give me some insite as to what I've gotten myself into right now, both here at the school and out with a unit.
I have noticed a few subtle differences. At the Arty School on my first day the senior officers treated me like I was human, as opposed to a piece of..... well you know, which is what I got at the infantry school. I've also noticed that the school was really keen on having me there, as opposed to the opposite.
Now I know some people might say I'm putting down the Infantry School. Not at all, I am proud to have had the guts to try out for the infantry, I wasn't good enough, so be it.
The only thing I'm saying is there are differences.
