Need help with getting a better qual photo.  Company asking for an AI file or Corel file.  All I have is a jpg.  My RSM is getting a Medical history wall together in the unit.  Attached is the file.. Please help!!

Thanks...

I would suggest getting a much higher resolution photo - otherwise the print will be fairly small and grainy. Check with the base photo. They may have stock photography..

good luck!

I suggest you check with Cdn Airborne Museum Petawawa info@petawawamuseums.com or 613-588-6238

Thank you, I have gone through base img.  no luck (The Sgt there has been an outstanding help).  When they put 13 SONS for OSONS!!!!...  The company is going crazy trying to help... I will try your suggestion.. Thank you..

I think you might be hurting...

Try The War museum in Ottawa?

Commando.org might help too....

Not sure if this will help or not, made a quick scan of the one I have left from 1RCR when I was in London '88 - 91. (hard to believe it was that long ago)  ;D Sorry it is a little worn looking. I removed it from my jump smock before leaving London.

If you could scan the badge and save it in tiff or png formats which result in a very large file, this would have more detail for the requirement of the printing company.

Question - Where can I get a photograph or electronic copy of my unit badge?

Answer - DHH forwards the original artwork of authorized badges to the Canadian Forces Joint Imagery Centre for archival storage. Requests for photographic or electronic copies of original artwork may be requested from the Canadian Forces Joint Imagery Centre on a cost recovery basis.

DND/CF photographs are stored at the Canadian Forces Joint Imagery Centre (CFJIC). For information on prints from conventional negatives or from digital images, contact CFJIC at (613) 993-2230 or toll-free at 1-866-254-2226.

Thank you all, I think we might have it!!!  ;D  ;D  I will find out today from my RSM (He is going to say ya or na!!).  I will let know.. Cheers

DHH should have all the artwork in the finest details.
This kind of stuff was designed and approved by them in the 1st place...

He has approved it!!! Thank you all, I will keep your suggestions in mind for the future..
