meaford SQ/battleschool and annual leave/xmas

Can anyone give me an idea of what might happen with me following graduation ?
I graduate BMW October 17 and then head to meaford. Now I can't imagine that I will be put into my SQ right away and figure I will be put on PAT followed by forced annual leave with Xmas leave.
Would I be right in assuming that my SQ won't begin till after Xmas leave?

If I joined July 3 would I get four weeks annual leave or only three weeks ?

First of all, what trade are you? You will not be loaded on SQ right away, and it might not be in Meaford. Gagetown and Petawawa also run SQ. All SQ sessions until February are full. You will not get full leave. You will get 2 days for every FULL month you are enrolled. Aug to Mar means 16 days. Depending on your trade, you could be waiting a while for SQ and your trades training.

EDIT - just saw you are infantry. Your SQ is lumped in with your QL 3. Not sure what the backlog for training is. Good luck
