Job offer before october?

My file is in the review phase of the reliability check and background check right now for crewman.

Is it a realistic worry to be given an offer and BMQ date prior to the beginning of October 2016?

I only say worry as I have an prior commitment I would like to attend in October,  of the two a career is more important by far. I would just like to alleviate a worry if possible. Thank you in advance.

I'm in the exactly opposite predicament as you! They are just finalizing my background check and I'm HOPING I get a call and HOPING there is a spot to fill ASAP. I've seen people on here saying back in June that they knew they were on the October 24 course, so I'm assuming those courses are already filled. You should be fine. When my husband got his call they asked him if he could go at this time (it was less than teo weeks notice) and said if not, they would just call him when there was space available in the next course. He jumped on the first offer but they gave him the option.
