Is retention still offered?

I was recently told that retention is no longer being offered and anyone who is on a retention agreement is being cut off Apr 2025.

I read the canforgen and it seems like that it’s still being offered to new people just the cut off date for everybody is Apr 2025. Am I reading this right? You can still be offered retention?
