I'm considering wanting to join ATIS

I'm 23 years old, graduated college with a IT diploma, can't find a job after a few months of graduating I just want to know what options I have with the military in terms of technicians roles or roles that would involve networking/system administration.

I've read the website and it does say it's a "On-Demand" trade but how long would it take for me to get in after applying I heard things like a year. Also for the physical portion of this I can do 19 military pushups but I don't do any form of cardio(ie Running) how badly would that translate into Basic Training, What can I do to make Basic Training easier on me, right now. I go to the gym 3 times a week


I'm going to see a recruiter in Toronto with a friend this Tuesday to see if I can sign up

I want to see what others on this forum think about the trade, if they find the pay to be good, were their deployments great and how's life after leaving the miltray for a typical atis tech  and how to get into better shape

for both , type in ATIS Tech in the search function of the forum .... you will get 4 pages on info on the trade.

As far as staying in shape .... well if you know you have issues on cardio .... then focus on cardio , start jogging , bicycling , swimming , etc. etc. etc.
