I was a reservists for 7 years, started in the Inf, they went Air defence, spent a little time there and ended up in armour unit. anyone else here bounce around that  much???

Was 8CH(PL) for 22 years until they were cut from the Regular Order of Battle, then became a Strathcona.

I think that is it.  I have always been a cook.  I was 10 years army then last 3 airforce.  Been on lots of callouts.  If I could have changed trade I think I would have picked arty, cause of the big guns go big bang!!!  Loved the army hated the airforce.  Since retirement, can't believe I'm saying this, but I miss the field alot.

I started at 28 med coy (now Fd Amb) and that was only for my basic, after that Princess of Wales Own in Kingston. Then came to my senses and realised... why get yelled at part time... and went into the regs.

First 3 years in the Army I was in the Reserves with 12 Service Battalion. OT'd out of Log into Signals along with a transfer to the Regs, an I'm with the Patricias now.
