Well, turns out this is my weekend off on my rotation so I lucked out! Talked with my Grandmother today, and turns out she is going for lunch with my Mom... I told my Grandmother, not to tell my Mom, that the little one and I would show up at the same restaurant as a surprise. So this should be good!

As I am going through pictures in my computer at this time, trying to get them all on disks and clean it out I found a good one of me and my pride and joy from Christmas time that I want to add her also  ;D

Great picture of your daughter too Moe... she's very pretty. Is that from her Prom? I know that one of Christmas I added here, was just this past December and she is even so much bigger than that now... time sure flies.

I got a card and a book from my monkey in the mail on Friday.  He is staying with his grandma (my mom) while I am on course and I made sure he had a card and a present for her.  I was talking to him today (Sat) and he is taking her out for supper (he is 9, what a sweetheart).  She is an amazing mother for me, looking after my son while I am away. I am going to see both of them for the long weekend, and can't wait.

Well, I got her some tickets, and I am going to order a milnet.ca hoodie in a few days too  ;D

Saturday I picked up and wrapped the following in a large box:
-Toilet brush
-Scouring Pads
-Rubber Gloves
-Dusting mit

I gave them to my mother on Sunday and after she had the box opened she looked at me in dismay and reluctantly said "Thank you". After a few minutes she got up to make some coffee. Then I went downstairs and grabbed the new electric kettle (hers died last week) and the flowers and garden ornaments I got her and brought them up and said surprise. It took her a minute to see the humour in it but the rest of the family thought it was pretty funny.

I love my mom!
