Any Jack Higgins fans?
Visiting sis-in-law in the hospital, picked up his latest paperback, "Without Mercy." Good read. As usual, burned through it in a couple days.

Sure his characters have flaws, they all drink too much, kill and maim at the drop of a hat, but hey, he's a quick entertaining read.

He's no Tom Clancy when it comes to technical accuracy but there allways good stories. I think everybody has read The Eagle Has Landed.

I was never a huge fan but he does have some good stories.
It's all a matter of taste.
