A Millersville man has been sentenced to 21 months in prison for using lies about life as an Army Green Beret and his education to get jobs teaching counterterrorism and drug and human trafficking interdiction. Sixty-six-year-old William Hillar, who pleaded guilty to wire fraud earlier this year, was sentenced Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Baltimore. He must pay $170,000 in restitution to the law enforcement and first responder organizations and schools who hired him.
