Detachments on aircraft carriers?

I was looking at some stuff about our country‘s carriers from back in the day -mainly the Bonaventure- and I was wondering if back then there were army (infantry?) detachments on the ships, like they have in the USN?

I don‘t believe that the US Army has a detachment on USN Carriers. Did you mean the Marines?

I believe that Canadian aircraft carriers did have army personnel on them; paymasters, dental officers and their staff. I also recall that there were some army staff on crusiers. Might be wrong though.
