Hi all: does anyone know of any stores in Toronto where I can buy a compass scaled in mils? Preferably a Silva Ranger?

Try Mountain Coop or the large Europe Bound on King St W near Spadina.

MEC can get one for you (that‘s where I got mine) but it‘ll have to be special ordered from Suunto or Nexus usually.

The PPCLI Kitshop has them (silva) for a reasonable price (around $50 when I ordered one two years ago), and you can order them online.

Thanks everyone! I‘ve tried MEC in the past and they‘ve told me they only carry compasses scaled in degrees - wasn‘t given the option of special ordering...guess I‘ll have to ask this time. Otherwise I‘ll check out the PPCLI kitshop.
