Looking at a few 'sheets of paper' it appears that 3/4 Cav operate as a form of APC unit as well as a Cav.
With their moving to Bushmasters does this really represent more of a direction to being a wheeled APC type Unit?
Is the Bushmaster really suited for a Cav role or was this the result of trying to provide 5 & 7 RAR with enough tracks?
To me moving 6 RAR back to Ligh Inf a backward step in the overall picture.
But heck we had motorised Inf in WWII and it was scrubbed as fast as it was created.
