So the HHOF has chosen the 11th of November as one of their celebration days for, what do you guys think? Personally not happy with the choice, links to the announcement and a petition to change it below.

I'm not concerned; shopping malls are open and so on; what's so wrong with this?

It is a four day event - one of them happens to be Remembrance Day. Their first 11 Nov event is at 11:30 AM, plenty of time to honour our war dead and join the "fan forum" if so inclined.

No problem as far as I'm concerned... as long as they fill the place with serving soldiers, WIA, Silver Cross mothers and their families and make sure they all get photos with the hockey luminaries present. And Trevor Greene gets to hoist the shirts into the rafters, or whatever they do these days. Trevor was quite an athlete in his day, so that's a good fit.

That's all
Oh, and while they're at it, why not induct a few KIA service personnel who were hockey players? I'm sure that Don Cherry could arrange it.

I'm sure that they're just inducting hockey players......and not any Maple Leafs

Great idea, and I'm sure Don could as well.
