BMQ and SQ put together?

Has anyone heard about this?  I am merit listed and awaiting my call for BMQ.  I have heard that BMQ (10weeks) wil be merged with SQ(an additional 4 to 6weeks) in efforts to stream line the trainging process for the influx of new troops.

Yes, No, Maybe? Can someone be a light in the darkness on this one?

If they have merged the course, it would be nothing new.

Periodically, the" bright lights " merge and separate what was once called GMT recruit and basic; depending on whimsy and the flavour of the month.

Notwithstanding, you will get excellent training ; but also the ability to (in 5 or 10 years) talk about being on a course no one remembers or has heard of..
