Current contenders is Bofors with FH77 Archer SP gun and the towed gun, and GIAT with their CAESAR SP gun. Both contenders are 155mm systems. Watch this project closely, as the Aussie project is very similar to the DND FIFC, in that the Aussies are looking at 155mm SP artillery that is compact and light enough, and are systems currently avaiable on the arms market.
