Can someone provide the general organization of 19 Combat Service Support Battalion found in 19 Light Brigade?  I thought it was to be a composite battalion with a brigade logistics squadron, a maintenance company and a medical squadron.  Is this correct?  The official British Army website shows 19 CSS Battalion as the only brigade support unit.  However, other sites have listed a logistics regiment and a medical squadron along with the CSS battalion in the brigade structure.  I assume these unofficial sites are wrong, but I just wanted to confirm.

Furthermore, do the medical squadron and logistics squadron have both close support and general support elements, how big is the maintenance company considering its a light brigade?

Yellow Leg,

I don't have the answer to your question but I know of a web site that is full of people who probably do.

Go to http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/TOandEs/ which deals exclusively with the orbats, war establishments and TO&Es of all armies both modern and ancient.  They eat this kind of stuff up and would be your best bet for an answer.

You could also try the Royal Logistics Corps thread on http://www.arrse.co.uk/.  You'll probably find the answer on there too.

These are the two places I would start looking.

Cheers,
Dan.
