I am a Reg force MS. The impact statement has been requested by my CO in regards to the impact to my unit if selected for a deployment. IE. backfilling my position and the effect that would have on the school ect.
I have volunteered for a TFA deployment and have been told to write my own impact statement. I have searched the DIN but have come up empty. Can anyone help me out.
In the CF we tend to have an older military. The yanks tend to get out of high school and join for a few years and move on. Whereas in Canada we get many folks who grad high school and get a job or two and then join the military. I feel that works in favour.
Well by overweight do you mean a little or a lot? http://www.recruiting.forces.ca/media/pdf/physical_fitness_en.pdf
I was 24 when I joined the reserves and 26 when I joined the Reg force. If you want someone to hold your hand ... perhaps this might not be the correct decision for you ... but...

Thanks
I have read Canforgen 052/07 and am wondering if I requre a VOT to join the regiment. I have looked around and my MOC is not listed in CANFORGEN 129/06. I am hard sea and do not know where I would fit in without a VOT.

Can anyone confirm or deny a rumour I have heard that in light of the Discontinuation of the Clothing upkeep allowance we are able to declare up to 500 dollars of dry cleaning, polish ect on income tax without receipts. Sounds kinda dodgy to me, but I thought I would put it out there and see if...
United Service Lodge
the original lodge on the Esquimalt base when the brits first arrived now located in Langford. A very long proud military/masonic history.
For some of our fellow service pers who may not of visited an out of country lodge. Give it a try, I have done so a few times and made...
Did anyone go to Navy Day’s? If so what did you think?
I was very impressed and pound as I walked around. Being Navy (the senior service lol) I thought that the name was misleading, while the Navy is the largest component on the southern island, the Army and Air Force put on an excellent show...
