how can u fail the Nav test but still want to consider doing the Nav trade?  Dosen't make sense too me. Anyhoo, on my ACS no-one passed the Nav portion... I think that was one of the first times it happened cause the whole base knew about it!

They have actually told me over the phone that they have selected names from a hat before!!! And yes it is constant speed and the layout is standard order from left to right - throttle, prop, mix. (note:  it would be nice to have a copy of that checklist sitting on the dash)

Your change in current work out routine won't matter so much now.  What it will give you an edge on is during basic and then battle school.  The PFT score doesn't really matter all to much during selection phase, but you do have to pass it, its done to see if you won't die during your basic...
