    Soldiers exist for you

An exceptional article! I read it in the Sun yesterday and felt that it was one of the greatest pieces in the paper.

    ROTP 2010-2011

I have a small question for anyone that could help. I got a call from the CFRC today. They offered to do my interview after my CFAT (booked it a few weeks ago), which I gladly accepted. I was just wondering though, they said I would be done around noon. My CFAT is at 9:00 and is an hour long so...

    here I go...

Right...I'll try to file taxes for my $115 before the April deadline then. Gives me time to figure out just how to do it. And thank you for the well wishes, both you and engineer1.

    here I go...

I'm not making ridiculous amounts of money, it's about $200 for a season and as a general rule of thumb refs never file for income tax return. I don't know of a single ref who does and once the Ontario Minor Hockey Association did try that and they found out that almost every ref quit. I guess...

    ROTP 2010-2011

Terminator has a valid point but grades do play an important role as this is university we are applying for. However, don't ever forget that our extra curriculars and all that stuff help too. My average right now is 88% for Gr 12 but 75% for Gr 11 and 81% for Gr 10.

Volunteering Abroad - Impact on Getting in the CF?

I'm currently going through the process of applying to RMC under ROTP and I've been given the opportunity to volunteer in Jamaica through my school for two weeks in March, including the March Break. I was just wondering if the CF would deny my application because I am/could be volunteering...

    here I go...

My name's Mo and I'm a Grade 12 Student in Ontario. I am currently applying to the CF and this is my thread where I will be posting updates about my journey into the CF. Although this may be somewhat of a cliche, I have always wanted to join the Canadian Forces. For a long time it was as a...

    What Was/Is Your Biggest Obstacle?

No, I'm not looking for an officer spot. I'm hoping to get into the Military Police and one of the prerequisites is to get some sort of law enforcement program done. I already know the college and course I want. :) Forensics interests me a lot so I'll be taking a course that will qualify me as a...

    What Was/Is Your Biggest Obstacle?

I have two challenges right now. One is patience. I'm only turning seventeen in July and I'm not applying until I finish college - which I have to finish high school first! It's so tempting to try and convince my parents right now or just to sign up on my eighteenth. So waiting until spring 2012...
