I was wondering if anyone knew my father back at RMC in 70-71. His name is Russel/Wade Fraser, and was from Nova Scotia. He is always talking about his old days at RMC and I was hoping I could help him get in contact with some of his old class mates.

If anyone is having trouble with the push ups then you should check Army.ca and use the pushup program some posted. It gets you to build your self up to 50 push ups in 8 weeks. I have been doing it and iv almost doubled my push ups in under 3 weeks.

From what i hear the minimums are really really low and you should be able to do more then that before you go to BMQ. Has anyone else heard this?

Just did a ruck march yesterday with my buddy. We did 10-11km with 35-40 pounds of gear on our back. Total time with 2 breaks was about 2:30 hours.

Yea i have the joining instructions and i have read them. I was just wondering if it was a good idea or it was just one of the things that was pointless to bring that is included in the joining instructions. My cousin bought stuff and when he got to St Jean he had to rebuy most of the stuff...

I run in gym class for about a hour every day. Then i run 2.4km 4/5 nights during the week (I usually dont run on weekends) . I do 50 push ups a day, usually 2 sets of 25, and I do 30 straight. I can run 2.4k in 12 mins. Is this enough for basic? I know its above the minimum standards but is...

When i talked to the recruiter he said that i go to St Jean on July 5th and BMQ starts on July 7th

Well will they expect us to know the math, or will they teach us how to do the math that we are a bit rusty on. Will I need to know algebra, geometry, trig or will i need to know any type of math?

Wow at least im not alone. I been strongly thinking of changing my MOC from Infantry to Combat Engineer. I still haven't decided. What type of math do Combat Enginee's do?
