So do they pay for school before making you a specific offer, or do they just reimburse you once you've actually sworn in?

"So You Want To Be A Pilot" Merged Thread 2002 - 2018

Hi All, I have a question regarding ROTP-Civi U. I recently came back from ACS and passed the CAPSS and am assuming the medical as well (although I don't know for sure).  Before I had left I received a conditional offer for Air Operations with my only choice being pilot.  I have one year left...

    Aircrew Selection/ACS (Merged)

Thanks for the reply.  I'm actually an ROTP applicant with 1 year left of university as well.  I have ASC coming up in July so I'll just worry about passing that before I worry about what kind of offer I get.  Thanks again! Jeff

Oh okay... I was given a conditional offer for air operations even though I'm only applying for pilot.  Does this mean I could be offered Air Nav or something else even if I didn't list it as an occupation choice.  By the way, I'm an ROTP applicant with only 1 year left of university. Cheers, Jeff

    ROTP PLT Stats

Thanks for the reply... I was curious to whether anybody knows what the maximum allowable height of pilots is?  I'm about 6'4" with quite long legs so I've been under the impression for quite a long time that I am too tall.  Have the new anthropometric procedures and standards at AirCrew testing...

Hi all,   I'm an ROTP applicant and recieved a conditional offer for Air Operations.  My number 1 choice is pilot and have been told that I am awaiting an AirCrew Selection slot.  Is anyone else in the same boat?
