Yes, even with a pass at acs, they could offer you some other trade. You don't need to put down 3 choices. If you're dead set on pilot and won't accept anything else, then just put down pilot. (still doesn't mean its a sure thing though) Corey

While on the topic.  When in DEU's are we allowed to wear sunglasses? A Lt. (in civies) jacked me up in an airport last year for wearing a pair of serengities while in my DEUs - and told me I should get some issued sunglasses.... I asked around, but the answer i got was they don't make issued...

I just read an older thread in the equipment section on boots. Someone mentioned that its not likely one can get a chit for wearing none issue boots until after basic.  This was a 2004 thread. Is this still the case?  Just bought a pair of Danner Acadias knowing I may not be able to wear them...
