Those are excellent suggestions and I agree that every opportunity to have FOO party on exercise should be taken. As horsegunner said the likelyhood that the FOOs will be the funnels through which Calls for Fire are executed is increasing. Your recce ptls will benifit from what the FOO can...

Does anyone know if a similar type of document exists for the Royal Artillery, to our Regimental Standing Orders.  Not TTPs... customs and traditions. If so does this document exist in electronic form.

I always understood that is was the result of the academic standards being lower in other provinces. For example, Quebec students completing Sec 5 would be relative to a gr 11 student in Ontario, and similar correlations between the maritime and western provinces
