    Gunner contacts

This probably doesn't belong here, but I'll just say my hearing went down a category within 2 years as a member of a gun det. Plus, any time you ram a 98 lb piece of high explosive into a giant gun, then throw some stuff to make it go boom... it can be pretty dangerous. Premature. Have had more...

    BMQ for September 2011

Maybe I missed something, because I only looked back to page 3 to see if someone said you couldn't use it during the week... when I was in basic no one was watching me shave. No one cares what you use to shave, especially on a weekend you may have off.

Training after BMQ, Excatly what happens?

When I was on Arty PAT in Gagetown I was pretty much out every night... and blew alot of money at the local and Freddy bars. Fun times though. Typically you're done your PAT day at 3pm and you can go out and do whatever you want until your pt timing the next morning. When PAT started to get...

Good luck troops. If you have any questions about the joint feel free to ask (PM)... I'm there now. Could swear I heard that in the new year BMQ was going back to 10 weeks... the start/end date on the CFLRS says otherwise though. I guess you'll find out.

What should I bring on BMQ, Contact lense or glasses ?

Some dude on facebook mentioned this: True/false? I don't want to bore anyone with my life story, but I got into contacts 9 years ago specifically for playing baseball (with lots of dust... and sweat), and I never had a problem... and was never big on lens hygiene. These days I put them in and...

    Application Process Samples [2003 - 2018]

Great man. My #1 trade was infantry too, but due to it being full, was offered and gladly accepted arty. Will likely see you in NB early next year. These videos are helping me "hurry up and wait" (30 or so more days for me) ... I've seen each about 50 times now...

Vision Questions Megathread, Categories, Problems etc.

Vision Questions Megathread, Categories, Problems etc.

You can't squint or tilt your head to aid vision. 8) 20/30? I'm 20/40 & 20/50 and was v3. Just be sure you're 20/20 corrected. And you'd be good to get a full eye exam and have the doc write the results on a letterhead note, with your: - Uncorrected vision (20/x) - Corrected vision (20/x) -...
