  I was under the impression that all infantry do BMQ 13 weeks and then enhanced BIQ 14 weeks. All other MOCs do the 4 week BMQ Land ( SQ ) after BMQ. Correct ? ...   Perhaps have all the regular infantry battalions become Mech and have a unit of CSOR attached to each brigade as their light infantry capability. Just a thought ...

Quick question for clarification .... Is there still an SQ course or is it now BMQ land ? Or is the BIQ now 13 weeks instead of 10 ?

  Sorry Man ... If you haven't done your medical or interview by now your not gonna make the July 16 BMQ . I had all my testing done in March and i got my job offer last week . You're going to wait out for a while yet ... If things go smooth for you your looking at maybe Sept. BMQ.

        Perhaps station one of the future companies of CSOR at the Chilliwack base . They wouldn't require the logistics and support of a full batallion . Plus a great training area for light infantry with all the coastal mountain terrain in BC . Just a idea .....

Just to clarify ..... I would completed my Armd recce trades courses and the maybe in my third year maybe get on to DP1 Inf course before i transfer to the Regs ... Slot would not be wasted because i would be transfering to a Reg Inf unit in the future .... possible .... ?
