Thanks, will definitely take a look at that if I can. Plan to talk to my company clerk tomorrow when I'm in and should be able to look on din then and apply if I can. Thanks
So this is going to look like a mess, and I apologize ahead of time for that.
Little over a year ago now I joined my local PRes infantry unit with no express intent of going RegF and plans to do my 'weekend career' while going about civy life. I've since completed my BMQ and trade quals for...
Unaware of if there are enough snowshoes as us trained guys haven't had them issued yet. But I would think yes as most are signed up for the upcoming BWW.
As for mukluks I'm imagining those came from the RQ otherwise I do not know.
Yes, as all members are part of the unit they are just ensuring winter kit issue.
Fun story to expand is that apparently the course as running wasn't division approved or somewhat, getting this second hand, and the division complained because it was running at a unit level and told them to...
Sorry about the signature, updated it with (relatively) accurate dates on the process and I am actually over my 1 year mark in the forces now. Did my DP1 this Summer at the wonderful Base Gagetown and stayed in tent city the entire time. Yey me!
Regardless thanks for the reply and I apologize...

The school I am looking at is in PEI and the only two regiments in PEI are the PEIR, which is Armoured, and the 36 Signal Regiment. However, I am currently a member of an infantry...
Not to bump the thread by 36 Brigade currently has a part time winter Infantry DP1 Mod 2 running.
Not sure how the results will be but they are currently having some dedicated weekends along with some weekends when they tag along with the unit to complete necessary training. I believe they are...
Of course you should search the forums.

Well it would be a full level 1 certification only difference being that I tested out after receiving training at a municipal level.
That make it clearer or still same answer?
Is it the training they are worries about or would being certified by an accredited organization be acceptable?
Also, I'm presuming that volunteer fire brigades are cover under acceptable municipalities?
Just wondering out of curiosity what kind of call volume you have as a Military Firefighter. I understand that it is lower than most civvy dept but was wondering if anyone was able to give ball park figures?
