Since you mentioned the schedule for CFSCE, would you be able to inform me of the frequency of ql3's being run for comm. research? (This year and next year).  I'm trying to figure out a rough time line for after BMQ.  Thanks.

I was told there were four or five spots left in both trades when i had my interview and medical in early july.  I'm not sure how many of the positions left were DEP, i only knew the total spots left.  Both positions go through a selection panel so i guess i'm fortunate i was chosen for ED tech...

Well they test reservists at the recruiting offices, no?  At least they do at the one here in wpg. Same test isn't it? 

Don't know if this has been mentioned already but...my two cents regarding the express test... This test should be one of the first stages of the application process(before medicals and/or interviews). You pass, you move on...you fail, you can re-apply in a certain amount of time.  No wasting...

Eye...thanks for that info.  I did call and was told they would still be doing the basic medical and i guess the aircrew at a date TBD....but they will tell me more at my medical/interview on monday. Obviously that has to happen before it goes before the selection board.  We'll see how it goes...

Anyone have any idea how long a 291'er can expect to stay in PRETC after BMQ these days? I'm wondering how many courses they are running this year or next year.

I'm actually interested in this trade myself and plan on going to the CFRC to possibly re-enroll after i get lasik done next week.  I was thinking about doing this as a civilian at first but then i thought about all the opportunities plus the top notch paid training of course. I'm just hoping...

Thanks George, that's what i thought.  Every now and then you hear rumors regarding course length increasing or decreasing.  I've heard about it going back to 10 weeks and i think the last thing i heard was how bmq and sq were going to be combined. Anyways, good luck to all of you on your bmq.
