Just received my offer for ROTP- Civ U (Inf O). Thank you everyone on the forum for their help, especially Buck_HRA. I am glad to have found this community who shares their experiences so well and helps others out in such a kind way. -James

That's probably true. I could see the US of using this as a "we have the capability to" without actually doing it.

Seems like a waste of money if it isn't going to be used regularly. Might as well send a small contingent there to do something.

The waiting game is the worst part. You lose more and more faith in yourself every single day, especially since I am on a timeline that's drawing to a close...

For the ROTP 18/19 FY, are all of those numbers for students that would be going to university Sept 18-Apr 19, or does it include Sept 19-April 20. Also I noticed the Armd O and Arty O ROTP numbers did not move, have selections happened for that occupation? I also noted that Inf O went down, so...

If I was you I wouldn't toss it. Check if that stuff is what the cadets use these days. Personally, I know plenty of cadets who would love to buy old OD equipment.

I would say you have decent chances. You seem to be motivated, you said you have 80 averages from highschool, so if they were all university courses you will be fine. Just make sure you have all prerequisite highschool courses.

Thanks Buck, just his wording made it seem like I was far off from an offer. "This means you need to make a decision on which Offer of Admission to accept, and hope that you are accepted into the ROTP."
