If you're looking for an airline job after you complete your mandatory service - be prepared to slash your lifestyle. Most airlines have a starting salary that may make you baulk. Rumour has it lots of reg force pilots are turning down Air Canada because they don't feel like making half their...
Hey all:
I was wondering if anyone knew where I could order an olive drab cap badge with a CIC emblem for a boonie hat? I tried dbes.ca and didn't have any luck. Thanks.
Rob
Our M/Cpl on QL2 had a few good ones.
On why he didn't care for running "Running is for f***s, stand and fight!"
On Bayonet drill "Stick 'em, stick 'em until you're drowning in his brain juices!"
Hmmm, I don't think so, they usually go by MOA (guess). I thought minimum flight altitude maybe. Look on the bright side, if no one here can tell you, it probably won't come up on the test.
ATPL = Airline Transport Pilot Licence
You're right about CB as far as I know
CRFI = canadian runway friction index, what most of us grew up with and still call James Brake Index
PPC = Pilot Proficiency check, a flight test on a specific aircraft done either every six months or year depending...
I can't recall the QR&O, but I believe full time members of the armed forces are not permitted to work for political parties. It doesn't mention reservists.

That's probably covered...
LOL!!!!!!!!!! LMAO!!!!!!!! ROTFL!!!!!!!! *wipes tears from eyes*
There will be a problem getting into the course if thats the way you think. No where near as easy as you make it sound. Trust me on that.

Just wondering if any one knows a reservist by the name of Shannon Sands? She was a Gunner with the 49th FD Regt in Sault Ste. Marie until 1996 and then moved to 7th Toronto FD and I lost touch with her then. Good friend and drinking buddy, she'd get a kick out of where I ended up. Thanks.
