VRAB Entitlement Reviews

This is the longest I've ever had to wait out of all my Favourable claims for a direct deposit from VAC. Normally, after I submit the Lump Sum option form, I receive my Lump Sum within 1-2 weeks, but as of today I am at the one month mark and still nothing. And the PSC monthly amount is still listed in Current Benefits. That monthly amount has to disappear under Current Benefits then you know for sure that VAC has processed the payment and it should be in your bank account in a few days.

Still waiting on my amount to show up. Been over 6 weeks now since decision. I swear they're doing it out of spite because appeal was successful.

Jesus 6 weeks is quite a wait so far for VAC to adjudicate the amount. I waited a month then the PSC monthly amount appeared under Current Benefits. Then I had another shitshow that only finished yesterday....I waited one month and 3 days for VAC to process the damn Lump Sum deposit. That's how long it took after I submitted the Lump Sum form. Normally it should or used to take 9-14 days. I might add, my Trade friend is on Day 31 waiting on his Lump Sum deposit so just a heads up on a just as long of a wait for the Deposit too. Hope you don't, but I thought I would let you guys know.

Not sure if this is still current, but I've advised guys with hearing damage:

Always get an appointment with an ENT (ears, nose, throat specialist), and
Talk about difficulties that you experience trying to sleep, if true, and do not leave their office without a prescription for a white noise machine.

I've had guys come back empty handed because they didn't feel comfortable, or the doctor explained the noise machine isn't covered by VAC/Blue Cross. These are not important issues; maybe your spouse's insurance covers it? Maybe you are willing to pay for one, but you insist on the prescription from the specialist.

That one single paper, when submitted, changes the result from 5% to 10%.

If someone is in an appeal, I might suggest pursuing an appointment with an ENT, get a prescription, and re-submit the works.
