Joint Task Force Two is closley modeled on the British SAS and many countries including Australia have named their elite special forces the SAS after the British. My question to you out there is Why is our equivilant to the SAS know as JTF-2. Why not the SAS in tradition with our commonwealth brothers. Is it merely the Liberals wanting to distingwish ourselves from the British? And does anyone know why they choose to put a Two after Joint Task Force. I can understand Joint Task Force because it is a unit comprised of the three enviroments. But the 2 makes no sence cause from what I know their was never a Joint Task Force One.
