Although having proof is nice, this is not - or at least should not be - news. It sure isn't to those former republics that know Russia best. And he as much said so publicly in the leadup and early on domestically. And there are a multitude of phone intercepts detailing both the deliberate and casual (but ignored) cleansing and torture by troops from all sorts of units (LPR, DPR, Wagner, Rosgvardia etc) with the exception of only some of the better professional units.

Dictators all read from the same playbook. Wagner etc are no better than the SS Death's Head units IMO or anything the Serbs, Croats and Bosnians all did to each other.

There is a reason why they're asking for eqpt monthly; they use it til it breaks and then dispose of it.

They also have some advantages - as NATO forces in Europe can repair most of the donated kit fairly quickly if it get damaged beyond what they can fix locally.
