Two NATO soldiers were reported killed in southern Afghanistan on Saturday.
However, the International Security Assistance Force hasn't identified their nationalities or said where or how the deaths happened.
Canada's troops operate in Kandahar province, while British troops are based in neighbouring Helmand province.
British troops have been involved in a number of clashes with the Taliban in recent weeks.
On Sunday, a suicide bomber attacked a U.S. convoy in Shinwar district of Nangarhar province in eastern Afghanistan.
The bomber attacked with a minivan, said a spokesperson for the provincial governor.
After the attack, U.S. forces opened fire.
The U.S. fire killed or wounded a number of Afghans. The death toll ranges from six to eight, with another half-dozen wounded.
U.S. and NATO officials didn't have any immediate information on the incident, and Afghan officials didn't know if U.S. forces suffered any casualties.
In the aftermath of the violence, hundreds of Afghans gathered in protest, where they threw stones at the police.
