Try Market Garden. This was one of his follies. It cost lives because of lousy planning and his ego. Then there was "Patton‘s Gap" which Patton had nothing to do with. It was Monty standing on his appendage. You must realize that my comments are simplistic but hte point is made. I find it interesting that no one commented on my dislike for Mountbatten.
