So, I did a search and instead of Zombieing an old topic I thought I'd start a new one.

The season is upon us and I thought it's be fun to see all the different variations in the way we put snowshoe bindings on our OLD type snowshoes.  I'm looking for other ideas instead the usual paracord solution.

Post away!

For the past couple years I've gotten a pack of mukluk laces from the QM and tied the bindings in. Wrap around the front of the binding and tie it to the cross-piece on the snowshoe, and then do a criss-cross pattern across the opening to keep my boots from slipping underneath.

Works fine in Shilo, we don't have alot of hills...I'll see shortly how it works in Kananaskas.

I've written TGIF on the bindings.

Toes Go In First.

I'm Infantry - short words, small sentences please.  >:D

I've seen people use zap straps in lieu of paracord......don't work so well.....
