BMP-01 Nevill, Ralph. British Military Prints. The Connoisseur Publishing Company, London, 1909. Discusses the development of the military print, with specific mention of regiments and the evolution of dress and warfare. The 41-page discussion is followed by 72 pages of reproductions of prints, drawings, sketches, and oils that would have been available to the public of 1900. Contains 24, full page colour plates, with more than a hundred reproductions of prints in either rose or gray tones. Book has 28 pages devoted to advertising. All pages and prints present. Soft covered, red paper. Binding intact, some wear on the exterior spine. No dust cover. Pages 130.

UT-01 Smith, G. Oswald, editor. University of Toronto, Roll of Service, 1914 â “ 1918. University of Toronto Press, Toronto, 1921. Privately published by the University of Toronto to honour 6,000 former students who served Canada during the First World War. The Roll of Honour gives the biographies of more than 613 former students who were either killed in action or died on service. Each biographical gives full and given names, place and date of birth, including father's name. Academic and sporting achievements are stated, and where applicable, civilian occupation before taking up military service. These
background details are followed by a full paragraph outlining military service, with places and dates of service, honours and awards, cause of death, and name of cemetery. The Roll of Service presents abridged biographies of 5,651 persons; full name, academic achievement, military honours awarded, highest rank attained, and a summary of military service. Contains several appendices, including a 63-page listing of former students who returned to the university to continue their education. BM-01 Montreal, Bank of, Memorial of The Great War 1914-1918, A Record of Service. The Ronalds Press, Montreal, 1921. Privately published by the Bank of Montreal to honour 1,409 employees who served Canada during the First World War. The memorial book is divided into several sections. The first section, The Dead, records in photograph and word the biographies of 215 former staff members who died. The biographical sketches record date and place of birth, education, pre-war bank service, and outlines military service including highest rank attained and the final act of death. There are 16 additional biographies of war dead for which no photograph is available. Other sections of the memorial book include; the names and biographies of 102 persons who were decorated and received a Mention in Despatches, 24 sketches of personnel who were captured and
imprisoned by German and Axis powers, 251 biographies of personnel who were wounded, and a final section titled Other Enlistments. An alphabetical index of names is at the back of the book. The title spans a double page, with a steel engraving of a memorial angel surrounded by four soldiers forming an honour guard on the left side. An onionskin sheet covers the steel engraving.
