Thought it would be of interest.

I like it.
No doubt related to the new CF ad campaign?
Has anyone from the maritimes seen the new ads?

Wow, it looks pretty good.

Yes, it looks decent - finally.  However, it perpetuates one of the more irritating "political" decisions of recent years - the insistance on using "DND/CF", rather than separating the Department from the CF.  How about a DND site (with DND material) and a CF site??

IMHO, of course...

Looks better than the old one.  The banner across the top that says "National Defense and the Canadian Forces" is pretty weak though.  The font is very basic and the maple leaf looks all jagged.

Looks much better than before. The main page is a bit more basic but it has a nicer look to it.  The element specific pages are by far much better.  The new navy page makes the old one look downright pathetic.

I hate to be the materialistic one... Well, not really.. But I was sending a friend a link to the Pay for Reg Force (as we were discussing his friend who was an NCM), and they've got a PDF from 2003 up... With lower pays than the 2005 version....

In a time where they are trying to boost numbers, this seems a pretty large oversight on the side of the webdesigner... I'll be sending them an email mentioning it, just in case they didn't notice..

Do you have a link to the 2005 pay scales by any chance?

The site does look good though, very similar to the new ads.

http://www.recruiting.forces.gc.ca/v3/media/pdf/RegularForcePay.pdf  <<  April 2005 Reg Force

The new site is pretty good, but seeing how the army and navy sites have been improved, you would think that the Air Forces' site would have been.
