Thank you for posting this.  I just retired and was working in LFCA HQ J1 Staff.  The incredible amount of work that is done by staffs, padres, regimental and unit personnel to get to the familiies before any of this gets out is so necessary.  It is one way we can demonstrate respect and caring for families.  All of this is so easily ruined by by one casual comment.  We all know how quickly regimental nets work.  They work quickly because they are built on absolute trust.  Posting on here or advising the media before before the sad duty of advising the NOK is a betrayal of that trust.
