Hello everyone, some may or may not know but during my tour in Afghanistan my father passed away.
This has left me with a home in Montreal which I am selling privately. I have put up a very cheap $5 "for sale" sign on the front yard to spark some interest. It is an older (built 1910) home that he did not maintain for the lat 30 years aside from patching up when necessary.
My plan is this: Start with word of mouth (done), move to front yard sign (done, waiting to see results), move to forsalebyowner.com or similar, then eventually go to an agent if necessary.
Has anyone here done this before or has anyone got any tips and tricks on performing this task?? Help me sell this place!!
