New fuse called the Precision Guidance Kit being developed for 105 mm rounds. Looks interesting, any thoughts?

Discussed somewhat here

Probably a good idea stuck on a M549 Rocket Assist Projectile, with rocket motor on, that round has a very significant probable error at long range, and it's only meant for long range (no need to fire it closer because the standard HE M107 or M795 do the job with better accuracy), but by its design it will cost some range in guiding to target.

I think it has some potential but I'm very skeptical about what any company would say in their glossy. I think their accuracy claims are dubious; what were the conditions they fired them under etc.

The fuse setter they are talking about, EPIAFS, is just about to come into service with Canadian Artillery units.
