Hello, soon to be Artillery soldier here just looking for some information before I head to basic. From what I've looked up so far in regards to the positions Artillery has to offer, the FOO parties and the Recces seemed to stand out the most for my interests. What I've gathered so far is that to be a part of the FOO parties as a NCM I'll need an LAV driver course(?) and a signaler course(?). As for the Recce, I will need to take a Reconnaissance Technician course(?).

Are there any more courses that could potentially increase my chances of solidifying a spot in one of these positions? Could I potentially do both?

Also, a little of topic but I was reading through this post https://army.ca/forums/threads/103901/post-1196010.html#msg1196010 and noticed under NCM Artilleryman Field, Reconnaissance Patrolman – Basic and Patrol Pathfinder Operator/Leader.
How would taking these courses benefit an Artilleryman?

Sorry for reviving a topic that has been repeatedly posted. I'm just looking for some clarification on the courses I'd have to take.
