And all I can really say is that I would assume (because I can't really compare them on google) are a lot more sex re-offenders, than people improperly charged and convicted of sex offenses. Not these days, with forensic and DNA testing. But if a tattoo is too harsh, why not a wrist band? Similar to the house arrest ones. That cannot be taken off, and are bright florescent green with "Sex Offender" in bold letters on it. It would not matter what accessory or mark was put on them as long as it was recognized as a sex offender indicator. I don't think slapping a wrist band on these guys for life is too harsh. And then if they somehow get cleared for their crimes, the government can take it off.
