MOC Re-Assign

Any help here would be appreciated.
I'm currently on OJT and my QL3 course starts in August. I've been doing some research on an MOC Re-assignment. What would be the best course of action here? Should I go through the normal process of OT with my chain of command, or should I just VR then re-enlist as soon as possible? Which option is quicker or more efficient?

Talk to your chain of command, and ask for an interview with the Personnel Selection Officer (PSO) to find out what your options are.
