Would anyone know a reliable source for M1 Garand parts?
I've checked every resource i know, Canadian Gun Nutz, Brownells, Numrich, stores across Canada, and no one seems to know where i can find parts for my M1 Garand. Mine's a Beretta M1 Garand 7.62x51
I need a clip latch, and an adjustable gas plug.
I get a clip latch failure, which is either due to the clip latch being worn, making contact with the stock, or bolt-ramming causing the clip to eject after every shot, or every other shot.
My rifle usually fires the first 8 shots without error, but the next clip i load is when the clip latch failure starts.
I've been using Norinco 165gr FMJ, as recommended. Any other ammo brands i could try? I don't trust Norinco, or Winchester's quality control.
