Does the word 'Jihadist' exist in arabic? I always thought it was 'jihadis'.

Jihad is "Holy War" & a Jihadist would be a holy warrior... but the term has been around for a long, long time.

I believe that General "China" Gordon fell to the Mahdi at Karthoum - in another Jihad against the Imperialists
