What happens if you don't complete your contract. For ex. your contract is 6 years, but you have to go after 3 years.
 
There must be some compelling reason for your release prior to the end of your basic engagement. If not, then the chain of command will likely not approve your request.

Is your current *contract* (called Terms of Service, TOS) a VIE or CE or something else?

Then you're no longer employed by the CF.
 
If you want to break your contract put in a memo requesting a release through your chain of command.  Don't expect it to be approved since the CF has invested a lot of time and money in training you.
